I forgot to mention that I have a new friend named Thea. She has a blog too. But I cannot remember the address. Maybe she can send it to me. So I can create a link from my site. That would be nice. Thea will be able to crawl soon. She is a few months younger than me but she's catching up.
I went to a friends baptism on Sunday. He is older than me and can walk. I watched the ceremony and made lots of noise. Then we went back to his place and had lunch with all our friends.
Hey I forgot to tell you all that I have a Turkish friend - named Burcuk (pronounced "Bojoo") - in London who also has a blog. Its a blog dedicated to food (www.foodiesinlondon.blogspot.com). The blog is written in Turkish and has amazing food on it. And as of today it has 33,718 hits on the blog. Sometimes she writes about me on her blog (in Turkish). Now I will write about her on my blog in English. Burcuk just finished a masters program at the London School of Economics this past summer. I used to see her a lot when I lived in London as her sister and brother-in-law were our neighbours. In fact, Burcuk's parents let me and Mummy and Daddy stay at their summer house in Turkey in the autumn of this year (I wrote about this back in September). After finishing her master program, Burcuk was being courted by a lot of companies in London. When we left she was interviewing every few days. When she gets a little time, she writes on her blog. Rumour has it, it is one of the most visited Turkish blogs in London. Must be the good recipies she posts!
Hey we recently added some new photos to the Flikr applet on the left side of this blog page. Sorry for the delay. Daddy is still trying to get back up to speed with the technology and the new laptop!!
Hi everyone - This picture is about a month old but I thought I should show you how much fun I had tobogganing during Christmas time. I was at my great aunt and uncle Mary and Daryl's acreage outside of Cochrane, Alberta. My daddy bundled me all up and we went for a long walk on their property. Mommy and daddy bought me my own purple toboggan but it's been either too cold or not enough snow. Maybe this week! love jacob
Hey someone get me a coffee! Here I am chillin' at Grandpa's house in Calgary. I'm having a very good time here crawling all over the place, climbing up on everything possible and going up the stairs. My mommy says I'm impossible to change now because I won't sit still for one second. It doesn't work anymore to put a toy on my chest to distract me. Doesn't she realise I have places to be and people to see. Jeez...
Hello everyone! Here are three photos from my first official photo shoot (even though I think I'm the most photographed baby in the world!). We had these photos taken when we were in Kelowna in November for YaYa's 50th birthday party. We had booked the photos but then it ended up snowing but we still had the photos taken and they actually turned out really good - if I do say so myself. Thanks so much to Darren and Natel Hull for taking the photos. Here's Darren's website if you like what you see and you're in the Kelowna area - http://www.hullphotographic.com/ love Jacob
Ok, I know this is just bragging. But at least you now know I can climb stairs. Mummy and Daddy are beside themselves as they can no longer just leave me on the floor. I have legs and I am using them!
Hey everybody, you probably saw a few weeks ago that I was learning to crawl. Well I have it mastered and like to do it at very fast speeds. All speed - no control.
Also I want to tell everybody that Mummy and Daddy have told me that we are staying in Canada and will not be moving back to London, UK. I will be very sad to not see me old mates at the pub. However I am really excited about being in Canada. We have been staying with family for several weeks and having a lot of fun. We had a great Xmas and New Years. I recieved a lot of toys and clothes from everybody.
Keep in touch and I will promise to make Daddy post more videos!
This blog is about me (Jacob, my brothers Lucas and Conor. The blog was started in 2006 when I was born in London, UK. I have been writing on it since then in anticipation of a sibling. My siblings arrived in early 2009 and 2012. We are using the blog to keep in touch with our friends and family. We hope you love our blog!
