Tummy time

Hello everybody - Just a quick hello! We've been going through a heat wave in London - well I guess everywhere seems to be hot right now! Well mummy decided to take a positive spin on things that since it's so hot and she's sweating so much - she's losing some baby weight! Here's a picture of me during 'tummy time.' It's not my favourite thing to do but mummy makes me practice everyday. It's just one of our daily tasks...

Sleeping through the night!

Hello everyone! Lots of people are asking if I'm sleeping through the night yet and the answer is YES! I have been for a couple weeks! YEAH! Every night, mummy gives me a bath at 6:45 p.m., feeds me at 7 p.m., puts me to bed at about 7:30 p.m. and I go to sleep without a peep. And then mummy wakes me up at 10:30 p.m. for a 'dreamfeed' and I go back to sleep until the morning. I usually wake up between 6:30 and 7 a.m. (unless daddy hits my cot on the way to the loo and I wake up - and mummy is not very happy!). You might notice from my pictures that I'm wearing a bib - this is because I've started to drool quite a bit so mummy is trying to keep my clothes dry - and I love both my grandma's -- yaya and baba! It's almost bath time so bye for now...

Big Day on South Bank

So we spent the day on the South Bank today in London. We did a lot of walking. It was pretty hot so Mummy and Daddy made me wear my new sun hat. I look like a World War II fighter pilot when I wear it. We went to a Turkish festival and we ate fruit, drank Turkish beer (well Daddy did), and then made our way home for the 4 o'clock feed! Tonight we are having fajitas. It' goood to see Daddy. He was gone for three days with his work. He was in Turkey. I am not sure where Turkey is. But we will be there on summer holidays soon. Mummy and Daddy talk about it alot. And as our neighbours are Turkish, we get to eat alot of Turkish food too. I think its time I got to see the real Turkey. Pretty soon!!!

Gymboree!

Hello everyone! Today I had so much fun at Gymboree! It was my first time there and I laughed and smiled so much. We sung songs, got massages, played with toys and looked at the other babies. It was the best fun I've had ever! And mummy says we get to go back every week so I'm very excited. There's so much to do in our neighbourhood with mummy that I don't think I'll ever get bored.

My first movie!

I went to see my first movie today with mummy. She took me to something called the 'Big Scream' which happens at a cinema close to our house every Thursday morning. All the mummy's in the area can bring their babies (as long as their under one year old) to watch a movie and they don't have to worry if us babies are screaming. Mummy said I did pretty well. I fed and slept for the first little while, then I watched the movie for a while, and then I started to get really tired so I started letting out my tired squeals and mummy had to stand and hold me for the rest of the movie. I didn't really have my morning nap so mummy thinks I was a bit whiney for the rest of the day but nothing she can't handle. Mummy said the movie was alright but she was sure excited about seeing a movie again! I guess she hasn't been in months!

World Cup Fever!

Daddy and I watched as England was knocked out of the quarter finals of the World Cup. Mommy was on pins and needles as the went to penalty shoot-out. Portugal took it and the English team was very sad. Yikes.

Bye Bye
